If you think the ocean is mesmerising on the surface, wait till you get inside. It’s a different world beneath the waves. The shimmering surroundings, the waving flora, miles of colourful coral ranges or the abundant fauna gliding and darting through the currents in an almost hypnotic fashion. Each time you descend into the water, you are going to experience something mesmerising.
We are not telling you how amazing the world underwater is to entice you to get certified. We are telling you all this because we have been there and we know it’s worth it! As avid divers ourselves, we understand that the most important reason to get certified is safety. Every PADI-certified dive lesson will teach you the right techniques and safety measures to ensure that you enjoy every dive you’ll ever make.
To be eligible for this course, you have to be able to swim 200m unaided.
If you have a fear of water or any other phobia, our in-house therapists will be on hand at all times to walk you through them. So don’t worry!
BALI - HOLLA TO THE MOLA-MOLA!
Home to the ocean sunfish, more commonly known as the Mola-Mola, divers flock to Bali Island to catch a glimpse of one of the heaviest known bony fish in the world. Located east of Java and west of Lombok, Bali is so much more than a popular holiday destination - it's a haven for diving.
Besides the Mola-Mola, do make it a point to visit the iconic Manta Point at Nusa Penida to spot the majestic Manta rays as they glide through the swift currents.
A stone's throw away from the active volcano known as Mount Agung is a picturesque coastal village called Tulamben. Here, you can explore the USAT Liberty - a U.S Army Transport Ship torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942. Given its vast size, the top of the shipwreck is a mere 3 meters below the surface, while the bottom is 29 meters deep.
It's estimated that some 400 species of reef fish currently inhabit the wreck and 100 species of pelagic fish often visit it. The destination is especially coveted for macro purposes as the plethora of marine life in the area is simply undeniable.
